- Camp Invention- Make a lasting difference for children while supporting STEM education. Leadership Interns (LIs) work closely with Camp Invention® participants to help them explore STEM concepts and become creative thinkers who can invent a better tomorrow. LIs work with teachers and young learners, earning up to 40 volunteer hours applicable to graduation requirements or college, scholarship or job applications. At the end of the program, LIs receive a letter of recognition from the USPTO. LIs also gain valuable hands-on experience interacting with educators, young learners and parents. LIs help children build an innovative mindset, encouraging creativity and confidence while exploring entrepreneurship through the lens of invention. Camp Invention will be held July 13-17, 2026 8am-4pm located at one of the elementary schools. Leadership Interns are asked to attend approximately 2-4 hours of training the week before camp. - Blizzard Bash - The Middleton PTO is hosting Blizzard Bash, a winter-themed adult and child dance for elementary students, on Saturday, January 31 from 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM at Spinelli's in Lynnfield. We are seeking responsible, enthusiastic high school volunteers to help run activity stations, including: * Hair tinsel * Temporary tattoos * Craft stations. Volunteers will run activity tables, ensure activities run smoothly, as well as help with set up and clean up. - Boys 4 Boys Mentoring Program - The Boys 4 Boys program is looking for high school boys in grades 10-12 who will volunteer to help mentor boys in the upper elementary schools. Mentors meet with elementary students for activities and discussion twice a month from January to April. Training is in December. Dates 12/17, 1/13, 1/27, 2/10, 3/3, 3/17, 3/31, 4/14 from 3:30-4:30 (but 2:30 on 12/17) Program will meet at the main entrance of Spofford Pond School in Boxford. Training held at Masco. - Tritown Council Virtual Tutoring Program- High school students in the program work with elementary or middle school-aged youth to help with tutoring, skill building, and academic support. Tutors attend a training session and are typically matched with one student for the duration of the program. Matches between student and tutor are based on need, compatibility, and availability. Sessions are usually held virtually for one hour each week throughout the year. - Girls on the Run Junior Coach - April 1, 2026 through May 31, 2026 Serving as a Junior Coach is a fun and rewarding way to get involved with Girls on the Run! This volunteer position is for high school girls aged 16-18 years old who want to grow their leadership skills. Paired with a Mentor Coach, Junior Coaches receive support to develop their own skills while serving as role models to program participants. Junior coaches should attend at least 1 of 2 practice sessions each week. Sessions will be held at one of the elementary schools to be determined. - TriTown Rock Band - If you love music and helping others, look no further than TriTown Rock Band. We’re seeking students in grades 7-12 to join us in mentoring youth with disabilities at our rehearsals and many public performances. No musical talent or experience is required. - New England Equine Rescue North - I have a non-profit horse, donkey, and mule rescue in West Newbury MA. We help equines and their owners throughout New England. We have many projects to be done that are just not in our budget to hire helpers and were hoping that our organization could be suggested to teens looking for community projects.
